I’m going to come right out and say that this is one of the most complicated, yet fascinating, cases I’ve ever seen. Maybe it’s the writing (Christopher Silber always keeps me guessing), maybe it’s too much leftover turkey, or maybe it’s just that I don’t understand politics. In any event, I found it full of twists and turns. So hold on tight, because we’re about to hit the streets.

Interesting opening this week…They flipped the entire opening from the pilot episode. As Jax rides into town, it’s daylight rather than night, we see a white bird rather than a crow, and instead of feeding on road kill, it’s perched comfortably on a road sign.

Lucas goes to L.A. to meet with the producer of the movie, who wants to make lots of changes, including killing Haley or having Lucas end up with Haley. Can we leave Haley out of this? For added kicks, James Van Der Beek plays the cracked out producer. Thankfully, Lucas refuses to kill off or end up with Haley. Meanwhile, Peyton is suffering from major abdominal pain and goes to see a doctor who asks if she has a family history of cancer. She spends the rest of the episode blowing up at Mia, who hasn’t been writing songs for her new album. Just when it looks like Peyton might apologize, she tells Mia that maybe this isn’t the right label for her. Ouch.

Oh, it's a story told throughout the ages: Girl goes to bar. Girl meets boy wearing a fedora. Mister Casablanca flirts.Girl has a few too many drinks. Girl takes boy home... Boy guts girl and makes her clean up her own blood as she dies a slow painful death. Very, very romantic. This is the kind of guy you want to call the next day, if it weren't for that you'd be dead. This felt-capped fellow is, apparently, a little more Freddie Kreuger than Indiana Jones.

There is an old saying about death: not with a bang, but with a whimper. There is no whimpering about the death of Boston Legal. This show is practically clawing its way out of the grave and hanging onto your trouser leg like Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

The myth of Robin Hood, who stole from the rich to give to the poor, has appealed to our romantic nature for centuries. But can that same principal be applied to real life – or at least life on Pushing Daisies?

You bet it can.

Our case begins with a visit from a former lawyer, spouting out legal rhetoric and terms in common conversation. He tells Emerson that his friend/client/lover Gustav Hofer was robbed and murdered. He suspects Gustav’s gold-digging wife, as Gustav was the richest man in town, his millions coming from a string of inventions that started with the mechanized yarn baller. Sounds like a case after Emerson’s heart.

In one of the most beautiful openings I have seen, it’s morning in Charming, and one by one, we see each SAMCRO member wake up with their significant others. Some are there for a night, some are there for a lifetime. The montage is set to a female rendition of Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young”. As it ends, a doctor addresses Abel, telling him that today, Abel is going to meet his family.

Congratulations and major thanks to Shawn Ryan and the staff for everything this show has been.

Oddly enough, after seven seasons, my favorite moment in this beautifully crafted episode does not involve Vic, Shane, Dutch or Claudette. Tina records a full year on the force, taking her out of “rookie” status. The other cops throw her a party, but before they can cut the cake, a call comes in and they have to scramble. That moment, balanced between hope and tension, sums up the run of the show better than anything else in the episode.

Patrice Madigan and Joe Purcell are discovered dead in a motel room in Davis, California. Joe was a state's witness in a narcotics case against Rick Carris -- although Patrick Jane thinks Patrice was the target, rather than Joe. Thus starts a trip with police partners protecting one's secret, betrayal of a wife by a husband, and an unwitting sororicide. There is always a reckoning.

So there is a naked man sitting on Ted’s couch. I’m getting ahead of myself…

Ted meets a girl in the elevator at work. I use the term “meets” quite loosely, as it take them a whole week’s worth of elevator rides to do the actual meeting. Yet Ted, still broken after his failed almost-marriage, finally gets up the nerve to ask her out. Yay! Now, back to the naked man…

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles – Begs the Question – "Strange Things Happen at the One Two Point"

Last night's episode was full of all kinds of double-crossing double crossers. Everyone in the show is lying to everyone else and when confronted smack in the middle of their lie, they lie some more.

Which begs the questions...

What is the worst lie you have told? Did you get caught? Did you lie some more to cover it up? Leave your confession in the comments section below. We won't tell.
